Shungite is known to have a special ability:  It can protect us from negative rays.  To do this, a protection object, such as a pyramid, a sphere or a cube, is placed in the room.  Or you carry shungite with you, for example, as a piece of jewelry or a plate on your smartphone.  The question often arises: how quickly does the effect of the stone appear? 

When an object has an effect on the environment, one often tries to express it in numbers to better visualize the effect and compare it to the effect of other objects.  However, in the case of shungite, it is difficult to capture the effect with measuring instruments and represent it in numbers. 

A "Bovis scale" or "frequency scale" can be used to represent the level of vital energy (Qi). 

Everyday physical and mental stresses strain our vital energy and take you out of balance.  The less we are in balance, the more energy is lost.  Shungite provides effective support in balancing inner energies (Yin and Yang).  Shungite and talcum peach in the form of discs, spheres, plates or cylinders are used to harmonise Yin and Yang  forces.

Shungite is a mixture of many different minerals that hardened into rock more than two billion years ago.  It is clearly seen on the classical (normal) schungite surface.  When the surface is polished, it looks like it has scratches, stains, or even fingerprints on it.  It is mostly pyrite (light gray) and quartzite (golden), but other elements are also irregularly distributed in the stone.
