An equilateral triangle with its tip down worn as a pendant is an unusual piece of jewelry. In addition to extravagant aesthetic appeal, this shape has a deeper meaning: the equilateral triangle symbolizes the bipolar harmony of space. With the tip down, it represents the feminine energy, the Yin energy of the moon. On the contrary, the top pointing upward represents the masculine energy of the sun, the cosmic principle of Yang. All raw materials for our shungite products come from the Zazhoginsky mine in Karelia, Russia. Classical shungite mined here corresponds to the highest quality category for this mineral, class 2. Classical shungite naturally contains additional elements. You may recognize them as gray veins (quartzite) and shiny gold inclusions (pyrite). They are not only very attractive, but also testify to the authenticity of shungite. This mineral does not exist without inclusions.

Therefore, we check all our stones and products from shungite rock to measure such important quality characteristics as electrical conductivity, hardness and specific gravity. As far as we know, real shungite is mined only in Karelia in the northwest of Russia. That is why we receive shungite for our store exclusively from the Zazhoginsky mine in Karelia. We also regularly check the authenticity of the stones at the mining site and get an overview of their route to us in Würzburg from the very beginning.
