Each disc made of raw stone of classical shungite in our assortment is unique. It is handmade and contains inclusions of other minerals (pyrite and quartzite). The presence of these additional elements is a quality feature. These inclusions confirm the authenticity of the stone and are a distinctive characteristic of classical shungite. Thanks to these individual features, each disc is unique.

Quality:
All raw materials for our shungite products come from the Zazhoginsky mine in Karelia, Russia. Classical shungite mined here corresponds to the highest quality category for this mineral, class 2. Classical shungite naturally contains additional elements. You may recognize them as gray veins (quartzite) and shiny gold inclusions (pyrite). They are not only very attractive, but also testify to the authenticity of shungite. This mineral does not exist without inclusions.
Certificate:
Our customers should receive only shungite stones of excellent quality. Therefore, we check all our stones and products from shungite rock to measure such important quality characteristics as electrical conductivity, hardness and specific gravity. As far as we know, real shungite is mined only in Karelia in the northwest of Russia. That is why we receive shungite for our store exclusively from the Zazhoginsky mine in Karelia. We also regularly check the authenticity of the stones at the mining site and get an overview of their route to us in Würzburg from the very beginning. We guarantee this and issue the Certificate of Authenticity. You receive this Certificate together with your purchase.
The seven chakras of our body are very susceptive to the special energy of shungite. This disc made of polished classical shungite is ideal for working with chakras. Just place it on the part of the body where you want the shungite to work. The disc may also be used for energy purification of jewelry. To do this, place your jewelry on the disc for 12 or even 24 hours. During this treatment, negative energies are harmonized with shungite.
Water purification:
Please note the following:
Contact of polished classical shungite with water should be avoided at all costs. The polished stone will lose its luster. Do not use products made of polished classical shungite for preparing shungite water.
However, products made from natural matte classical shungite are ideal for the production of shungite water.
Important notice:
Please note that natural classical shungite tends to leave marks on the surface, especially when the stone has not been previously used. However, the resulting stains can be easily removed with soap and water.
